    Since my recent update to Marshmallow (Android 6) My Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900I) has no mobile data connection anymore.
    I can still use Wifi and make phone calls/ receive texts.
    I think the problem originates from my APN settings.
    I performed an automatic configuration of the settings from my service provider aswell as trying to create my own settings.

    My Service provider tells me to enter "default,supl" for "APN type". However, I can only choose between Internet, Internet+MMS and MMS.
    Is this the origin of my problems ?
    How do I get my data connection back ?

    Try a different sim card or different service provider to make sure that the problem is not with your phone and then if your mobile data works on another sim you can reset your network settings and get APN settings from the service provider to make it work.
    If the problem persists please try flashing your firmware.

    OK i solved the Problem even though the solution is suboptimal.
    I installed a custom Rom (cm13) and in there i can freely choose the apn type.
    It was therefore an incompatibiliy between the Samsung Android 6 and the apn settings of my French service provider (numericable).
