taking tempered screen off

if that tempered screen is not exactly a part of the phone then go ahead it wont damage the screen. Why would you like to take it off? its better if you have one for protection purposes

I had it put on when I got the phone. Several drops and now couple cracks.
Was wondering about taking it off and getting a new one.

just take it off and buy a new one, it wont hurt your screen. Without a tempered glass your screen might probably be prone to scratches or cracks
