Samsung Galaxy S5 email won't download attachments

Since the latest system software update performed on 2/28/17, I can't open or even forward attachments. Everything worked fine before the update.

I'm having the same issue at my company. We have a group of employees with company phones who can't open attachments.

We've gone through the trouble shooting options:

1. Check for system updates
2. Remove and reinstall e-mail
3. Factory reset (tried with one phone)
4. Tried removing the cache per above.

None of these things are working. Any other suggestions? Is there another system update that is going to come out to resolve the issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this only for company email accounts through the stock Email app? If so, I wonder if it has to do with having the proper security credentials.

I am having three same problem with the stock email using the exchange. Prior to the update I was able to download attachments. I have tried all the solutions except for resetting the phone. What permissions did we need to check and where are they?

I am having the same problem. Only with the Exchange/Mail App. The GMail app works fine. everything was good until the end of F.eb
