    Galaxy S5, worked perfectly until the latest update, which I tried to stay away from. After the update all emails have to be manually deleted on my phone even though my spam filter has deleted them from the server.
    Before the update I could use either pop or Imap, now I only use Imap and get this problem.
    I hate updates that you can't choose!

    Welcome to Android Central! Which email app, and which email provider? Have you tried removing the account from the email app, then adding it back? If the provider still uses a POP3 server, you can always add the account manually and use the POP3 server settings.
