Android Central Question

I was on phone at it randomly switched off in my hand, its only 3 months old and has no cracks on the glass or inside the glass, I have tried charging it for hours and no red light shows up, the battery is charged because i put the battery in another s5 and it switched on, I have tried holding the power on button multiple times and it just in reacting or vibrating... does anyone know what happened??

Some part went bad - that's about as far as we can get without having the phone in hand. You'd have to bring it back to the place you bought it (I assume there's some kind of warranty) and see what they'll do for you. (Or contact them if it was by mail.)

Welcome to Android Central! The S5 was released in April 2014, so the phone itself is not 3 months old -- it's just that you've had it for 3 months. You presumably got it used or refurbished, and it wouldn't be surprising for some major component of the hardware to fail after 4 years.
