I think it's stuck in call forwarding. I can't access the feature I get a network or sim card error. I tried the *73 and I got a MMI error. I am not att customer, I am consumer cellular.

Open the phone dialer and tap settings, then More Settings, and see the call setup. Good luck

Welcome to Android Central! What does AT&T have to do with this -- are you saying this is an AT&T-branded S5 that you took over to Consumer Cellular?

Are you able to make calls? Were you ever able to receive calls, or has it always been like this ever since you brought the phone to Consumer Cellular?

    Welcome to Android Central.

Is your AT&T branded phone unlocked? That is necessary if you are bringing your own phone.
