My wife just upgraded to the grey active from her Rugby Pro. Few hours into her ownership she loves it. Only downside was she wanted the blue camo but the store didn't have it.

One thing I'm noticing as I form an opinion on this phone is when cropped in picture isn't as sharp as G4 regardless of lighting

I saw in some reviews that the G4 tends to over sharpen. That's from people that know more about cameras than I do. Maybe that has something to do with that? It's been a pretty big debate with no real clear winner I think between the s6 and G4. Comes down to personal preference I think. I liked the s6 camera a little bit more ,but was very impressed with both of them

I haven't seen that. With a quick charger I thought it was very fast. I'm sure it will take a little longer though since it's so much bigger of a battery.

Yeah is much slower than s6 and only a hair slower than G4 but still reasonable

Picked up the blue camo last night. Big upgrade from my S4. Charge with the fast charge is fast. No problem's at all. Photos are very crisp. So far love this Phone. After a few days I'll give a better review. My only slight issue is only 32 GB for storage but with everything I loaded I still have 19.8 GM left. Looks like it will be fine.

I'm sure the phone charges at the same rate. Just takes more juice to fill it. But mine wont be nearly as low as the s6 or G4 I had at the end of a day. It'll probably charge as fast from 50% as the others from 20%. Though it's not looking like I'll be able to get this down to 50 in a day.

I just picked up my S6 Active at the AT&T store. I had the G4 (like you) but what annoyed me about it was that the double-tap to wake feature didn't work most of the time and I hated that it didn't have wireless charging. I absolutely love that the S6 Active is everything the regular S6 is plus it has a bigger battery and waterproofing/dustproofing. I picked up the gray one because I thought the camo was ugly (no offense!).

There was an update that fixed the double tap but what most people don't know is the double tap only works when accelerometer detects movement so it doesn't work in flat surface. Wireless charging isn't a big deal for me but yes this phone is awesome! S4 active was previously my favorite phone so this is a good replacement

I work outside 10 hours a day so it gives me great peace of mind knowing I can use this phone in a downpour and not have to worry about it.

BTW, I never got that update that fixed the double-tap feature. C'est la vie.

You and me both I also spend a lot of time at pool and not having to worry about if I took my phone out of my pocket as I jump in is a nice feature

Did you pick up a case for the Active? I'm thinking about picking up the Case-Mate Tough Frame Black Bumper on Monday.
