Will I be able to import an s6 Active from the USA to the UK on EE network?

I REALLY want an s6 active, but as far as I'm aware it's only available in the USA. I've seen some unlocked handsets on eBay.

Is there any reason that this wouldn't work on EE in the UK?

From what I can see it uses 1800 LTE band for for 4G which as I understand is what EE use, is this correct?

Also you should note that you will have to update it using ODIN as OTA will not work whena non AT&T sim is inserted.

Please could you elaborate a little more as I've never heard of this process. Does it require the device to be rooted?

You do not have to root ,you will have to download the update to your PC and download ODIN ,it is a relatively simple process I followed the instructions in this post :
