memo apps

Is there any memo app which will be backed up on Google from my Galaxy S6

I agree that you should try Google keep which can also be accessed by going to keep.google.com when on a computer

Yea keep is backed up ( it will even show up as a sync check box under settings> accounts etc) whenever your Google account syncs on the phone it will also sync keep

Probably not. I see that you also read through this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6/587633-export-stock-memo-app-data.html. The .memo files are probably a proprietary format used by Samsung, so I doubt they can be imported into Google Drive or Keep. This is one of the reasons why I avoid preinstalled memo apps -- they usually lock you into that ecosystem.

I have had an LG Optimus L70 with a "Memo" app. When I exported the memos via Bluetooth to a new LG Phoenix 2 phone, they were transferred as ".HTML" files. But the QuickMemo app and the Memo app I tried downloading will not import them. How do I know if an app will access these files before I download it?
