Can't go wrong with the otter box symmetry. Offers the best protection while not making your phone a brick.

I 2nd the symmetry. When I got it yesterday with my gold s6 edge+ I was determined to return it because it is black and blocking the gold color from the back, but I have been getting so many compliments on the case and the phone. It's actually very well constructed and pretty simplistic so I've decided to keep it. I also was able to get it from bb for 27 dollars when it cost 50. That makes the decision much easier :)

Stay away from Spigen Rugged Armour resilient case. Very poor fit. Feels loose the phone actually moves inside the case. The Rinke slim crystal clear case fits perfect, even comes with a matt back cover for the glass. The beetle case by Supcase us ok. Fits better than the Spigen, feels protected but kinda bugs me that the sides aren't snug

Otterbox cases are monstrosities....

Yes they are till you drop the phone because it's so slick and you bust the glass front and back. Then the Semmatary looks a little better. But that's what's so great about American everyone can make their own choices.

It's a pretty minimalist case without adding much bulk. Perhaps you are thinking of typical otter box cases. It's no where near the size of the defender and thinner than the commuter. I think this is one of the best protective and sleek cases for the edge.

S View flip cover - I know it's not as protective as some covers, but I mostly want it for the screen protection. I had a tempered glass screen protector on my Note 4 and the S View flip cover...but obviously there isn't a tempered glass screen protector for this phone.

LOL that's the same thing I said. Doesn't look like there's any case on it. I've seen clear cases before and you can definitely tell there on the phone so that pic was a bit suprising. Nice if true.

How's the grip after applying this though I need something to help with grip. I had thought about the clear but worry about turning yellow.

That's what I don't like about most cases(even the expensive ones like casemate) tend to look dirty. Think the Samsung clear case looks the best but hear it scratches easy.

I have the official Samsung Protective Cover. It's the most minimalist case i've ever seen, but kinda pricey at $35. The fit and finish is great, and the gold color matches perfectly. I doubt it will offer any real good protection. I like it though!
