Why can't I access emojis on my stock keyboard anymore?

Can't access emojis on stock keyboard anymore.

It began just today. I have an S6 Edge+, using the Samsung keyboard. Whenever I try to bring up the emoji list (holding down the settings button on the keyboard, and tapping the smiley face that pops up), I get the "Samsung Keyboard has stopped working" message on the screen for about half a second and the keyboard closes. This very frustrating, please help!

Have you tried a soft reset? If yes, try a hard reset. Irritating, but should fix it.

I had the same issue last year on my S6 when I was playing with all the different themes and launchers, etc. It was fine after I did a hard reset.

Chances are you switched keyboards. Look at your settings and make sure that you are still using the Sammy stock keyboard.
