This is not so much a tip but I have an issue.

Had brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge PLUS delivered yesterday.
After courier left I opened packaging and noticed the ' don't accept if seal broken' had been opened.

I checked everything very very thoroughly including all accessories (very familiar with S6) and nothing at all had been touched. The cable was defo in factory state.

Now the issue , I gave the phone a good test bearing in mind you need many days and fully charged and then put back in the box for the night definitely off. In the morning the battery had gone from 100% to 67%. The phone was definitely not on through the night.

I have played a bit with it today and just put it 'to bed' again on 100% and will check again in the morning.

Can anyone give any advice?

Thank you.

The phone will lose some power during power-off and even more during power-on (rebooting is the same), but it shouldn't be more than a couple percent points at most. It definitely shouldn't be depleting your battery if it's off overnight. Batteries will lose charge even if not used but that takes days, not a few hours...
