Have No Idea What This Is On My Screen

So yesterday I dropped my phone. I keep a good screen protector on it and noticed what appeared to be some scratches. Being that I had an extra protector and the scratches were in an annoying area, I took the protector off to replace it with a fresh one. Upon removing it, I noticed that the marks were still there. I wiped them down and they did not come off. I ran my finger and other objects over the marks and there are no indentations or scratches or resistance, so I do not believe they are scratches. Does anyone have any idea what these are, and if so, what can I do about it? I have been rubbing at them repeatedly and it seems like some of it has worn away, but for the most part they are still there.

Not far at all. Got out of my car fell out of my pocket to the ground. I'm 6'0" so maybe from my pocket about 3 1/2 - 4 feet?

Either pixels or a crack in the screen. Screens can crack on the inside without changing the outside of the glass's feel.

Would these be covered by Samsung's manufacturer warranty or am I stuck going through my insurance?

I think something like that has to go through insurance. I had a software issue with my phone and had something like that that my carrier noticed and said I had to go through insurance.
