Is there a merge call feature on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +?

A

AC Question

I recently bought Galaxy S6 Edge +. Love it! However, in my previous S5 when I used the conference facility via merge calls, I had the option to add more than one call, and also was able to pick which call to end when several lines were merged. The Edge + does not allow more than one call to be merged, and even then if I want to drop one party and keep the other one going on, there is no such feature. Very frustrating. I have to then hang up and call again. Is this feature missing totally or do I have a glitch?

Passing on a call to me to a third party on Galaxy S5

Moved to the S6 Edge+ forum.

Scenario
1. I receive a call on my Galaxy S5
2. I want to forward the caller to a third party
I tried:
1. press ADD
2. Phone the third party
3. Ask the third party if he agrees to speak with my caller
4. open the conference
Now, I want to let them speak and mute myself or hang up (which I cannot do because it hangs up all callers)
Any way to do this, even with an app?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure if that's available on a regular wireless plan. That would be a "Transfer Call" function. Which carrier do you have?
