My phone had fairly good battery life until a couple days ago. I never use it while charging, have only left it in charging past 100% two times when I fell asleep while charging, charge to 100% and remove. Would two times really destroy the battery life? Also, lately it always shows that screen is using majority of the battery and this is new. Any clues?

Hi, no charging the phone overnight while it's already at 100% won't cause significant damage - I do it every night.

Since you mentioned the screen is taking the majority of the battery, how is your screen brightness kept on the phone? how much screen on time do you have?

Can you please register an account with us so you can upload screenshots of the battery usage and we can determine what is draining it for you?

Welcome to Android Central! I merged a couple of your threads here.

Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

    1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
    2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
    3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
    4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

The 12% Cell Standby in your screenshot above suggests that there is some time when your cell signal is poor--this can drain your battery. Also, Verizon Cloud is using a decent amount of battery. If you never use it, I suggest clearing its cache and data, then disabling it if possible.

If you can't find a Cell Signal Strength graph in your Battery settings, then install GSam Battery Monitor.
