for tmobile s6, you need to use the tmobile device unlock app which should be installed on the phone by default. Just open that app, connect phone to wifi and do the prompts. If it doesn't work right away try a few more times. and if it still fails, contact tmobile and ask them to unlock the device for you. They will add process your request and if you are eligible, they will then ask you to use the device unlock app to complete the unlock
