I had success with supersu but when I took it off to check for updates, I cannot get it to reinstall. Cannot get a binary installed. I dont know why or what to do. XDA forum has not been of any help. Should I factory reset and start over? I have tried several versions of pingpong root... beta included. No dice. I tried uninstall in and reinstalling... same deal.

I did a factory reset, and still no change. Still no binary is being installed. Ping pong root says my version is still not supported, but the exact same app has rooted my phone before.

Pingpong root do not work for 5.1.1
As u have updated ur OS, you have lost su binaries which are must for obtaining su.

Over at xda there is a method to obtain root without triping knox.
Triping knox does not happen with ping pong but any other method except tutorial on xda will trip your knox. Which will void your warranty, samsung pay and finger print.
