Auto brightness issues? strange glitch?

I'm waiting to hear. They will call me everyday. If it can't be fixed with an it's update we'really taking about a recall of millions of phones

Because I was the first person to prove that the problem exists with one of their techs.

I'm not playing with you, I promise that this is a fact. The first day I got the edge I went to other stores to see if the demo edges were doing the same thing with the display. They were. Now I'm waiting to hear if this can be fixed ota. This is bothering me a lot bC I bought the phone outright.

I swear I'm not playing with anyone. I'm not an *****. I have better things to do. I always check these pages first to see if other people are having similar problems

I just called t mobile to try to get a longer grace period. I don't know what I'm going to do yet, hoping for a fix. Still got 12 days

That really sticks. Kind of a catch 22 as well if your in the united States because who knows when the fix will be pushed out.

I would if it were me. Having fill control of screen brightness is paramount for myself.

This situation just sucks because I love this phone. I'd rather not return it. I have the galaxy gear s watch. The fact that they missed such an easy glitch b4 they released the phone amazes me.

Perhaps swap for the standard s6?

debating that but love the scrolling scores on the off screen. I already got rid of my s5, that was a mistake

Just got back from Best Buy. I compared my s6 Edge with a regular s6 and s5 and note 4. Funny it looks all the same but wit my G3 and wife's S5 it seems dimmer. I made sure all of them were the same. Full blast with no saving mode....
Now what??

The problem is take the edge into dark lighting, the display will darken. Under flurescent light the display looks amazing.

So it auto darkens even when auto adjust is turned off?

This seems like its 100% software related. Hope they are able to push a fix soon.
