Chrome Sucks!

I've had this phone for about 5 days now and I can't stand Google Chrome. Its sunspider score is over 1000 and its just bad.

I downloaded the Chrome Support Library for Samsung and it seemed like it improved but then maybe it didn't.

Anyone else having this issue?

I did with both Chrome and Chrome beta. Chrome beta was in the upper 800s and "stable" Chrome was still in the 1000s. I went into the experimental settings and changed a couple things but those still didn't give better results.


The stock Samsung browser is getting results in the 400 with sunspider.

I get that you did Chrome and Chrome Beta, but did you do Chrome + Support Library and Chrome Beta + Support Library to see if they're different?
I get 1547 ms on my LG G3 with Chrome Beta. Any chance you can post the results of each test in your comments? Curious to see where the biggest hits are happening.
[EDIT]: My iPhone 6+ Safari gets 348 ms, Chrome on that gets an empty page because it can't complete. lol Apparently, Chrome is a bit of a dog. I thought they had worked on their JS engine to improve it?

Weird i ran it again and im getting close to 1000 now.
I think the stock Samsung browser has the best score from SunSpider. Also try Naked Browser
