How to forward number from phone log

Hi at times I run my small business from my phone and I need to be able to send numbers from my call logged to my techs via text message. On my s 4 all I need to do was hold on the number in the logs and a box would pop up then I'd press send number and it would go directly to text messages app.

Anyone know how?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't have an S6, but on my Nexus 5, I open the Phone app, tap Menu>Call History, tap the avatar next to the call to get details for that contact, then long-press the phone number. A window pops up giving me the option to copy it to the Clipboard. Does that work for you?

Hi, I use that also on my S5 but like you I can't do it on my S6. When you find out can you please let me know.

Samsung Galaxy S6: tap LOG, tap call, tap upper right corner MORE, tap SEND NUMBER. It took me one week to find that, I am also former S4 user.
