Music player issues

Recently bought an s6 edge. I used my pc to transfer my 30 gigs of music from my micro sd card onto the s6. since then I've downloaded more mp3's via torrent sights. I can see them in my storage on device but for some reason they don't show up in my music! Any advice on how to make the music app recognize the mp3s would be helpful!

Most music players automatically detect music files, but sometimes depending on what folder they are saved in, the player needs to be directed to those folders. In the players settings you should be able to add folders that contain the music files. Which player are you using?

Or you can just go to the file manager and copy/paste from the torrent folder to the music folder.

Generally, if the song ends in .mp3 the music player should automatically find it.

I am having the same issue. My files are in music folder and still don't work. The setting option has nothing useful in it.
