You can use Google Photos app and upload everything from your Edge and your pics will be available to any device with the app.

Otherwise I would think you would need to copy your pictures from your Edge to your PC then use iTunes.

I haven't used an iOS device in a while, not sure if there is an easier way but you can't go wrong with the new Google Photos app, it's awesome.

I use a little app on my phone called 'photos to pc' you have to have both devices connected to the same wi fi network, you then enter an http address into the bar on the iPad you can then upload photos onto your iPad

You can always copy the images to your desktop and copy them back to the ipad. But as mentioned Google Photo's or any cloud service will offer that.

I use Dropbox. Works well on all platforms.
