Can I get pictures off of a broken Galaxy S6 Edge?

My brother recently broke my Galaxy S6 Edge; he threw it on the floor but it looks as if someone ran it over. Both the back and the front screen are shattered and it wont turn on. I do have insurance and am being sent a new phone, although I was wondering if there was any way that I could retrieve pictures from my broken phone being that there are no memory cards for the edge. I have not recently backed up my pictures onto Google. Pleaseee help!!!

Can you still plug it in to a laptop via the USB port?

It would need to turn on for that to work I think.

You may want to try a repair shop to see if they can get it to boot enough to move stuff...

Hindsight is a great thing.

Anyhoo, you're going to struggle without the device powering up in any way.

There may be a local shop that may be able to power it up long enough to copy stuff over.
