Please help - Galaxy S6 edge 'No SIM Card' problem

Hi Guys, my new galaxy s6 edge is showing 'No SIM card' always. When i inserted the sim for the first time, i was able to get the network but after a while it started showing 'No SIM card' . Later i updated my phone software to Android 5.1.1. Then for a minute or two i was able to get the network. After that it failed to read the SIM card. I guess it's a software related problem. On the hardware side, the sim insert tray and sim card looks perfectly fine to me. Is there a solution to this?

Have you found a solution to this?? My G920F has started doing this and the mobile network settings have disappeared so I can't edit those! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have this issue too, and also the 'mobile network' option is missing from the setting menu

Mine is doing this too. Don't understand how the network settings disappear!

Mine is a SM-G925F. It started not reading my sim ever since I updated to the newest Android OS.
