Curious if I leave my edge on a wireless charger pad all day, would this damage my battery and reduce life?

It shouldn't. They are programmed to stop charging when full, same as when plugged in. You'll notice that the phone gets a bit warm while charging (normal). But if it's charged to 100% and you place it on the charger, it does not get warm.
