    Hey everyone,

Just recently made the android switch for the first time so I'm pretty new to some things that may be obvious to others. I recently found out that I can only receive emails and cannot send outgoing emails through my icloud account. My incoming and outgoing server settings are as follows:

    Incoming

    IMAP server:
    imap.mail.me.com

    Security type:
    SSL (Accept all certificates)

    Port:
    993

    Outgoing

    SMTP server:
    smtp.mail.me.com

    Security type:
    SSL

    Port:
    465

Now I have read that my security type could also be set to SSL (accept all certificates), TLS, and TLS (accept all certificates). These are my only options.

My port number is apparently supposed to be 587, however my device tells me it "cannot safely connect to server".

Does anyone have any idea how I can change my port number ?

    Regards,

    Peter

I don't know what other options I could use for SMTP aside from "smtp.mail.me.com". I was certain that was the correct info.
