Unfortunately, the S6 doesn't support MHL at all. You'd have to use something like a Chromecast.

Wouldn't a $25 Chromecast be cheaper? (Especially if you're in the US and wait until Friday - they'll probably be almost giving them away.) And you're not limited to tripping over a cable.

I know of Chromecast. Just that currently i don't have a wifi connection at home, was looking for other alternatives.

The S6 Edge doesn't support MHL, so I don't think the Edge+ would either: Is my Galaxy S6 Series device MHL compatible for use with an HDMI adapter?
