Why can't I save pictures on my Galaxy S6 Edge from Google in high quality?

can't save pictures on my galaxy s6 edge from google in high quality

i'm having a problem with saving pictures onto my phone. when i try to save a picture from google images through google chrome onto my phone it saves in really low quality. i know the pictures aren't low quality themselves as when i check them on my computer they're in high quality. are there any settings i need to change? i'd be grateful for any help

Are you downloading from the Google Image page or do you follow the link to the original location of the picture?

Don't save from this page


OR this page


But open the link where the file is being hosted.


Then long press the picture and select open picture.


That will give you the highest quality possible.

ah, thank you! much less time consuming than before where i had to change the app to desktop view. would be easier if they would just save in high quality by long pressing the photo in the view shown in picture two, but i guess opening the picture's link is not too much trouble. thank you again for the help
