Black dot on screen

I have had my S6 Edge for a few months ago and noticed this weird black dot in the upper left hand corner of the screen. It is noticeably large so I'm not sure if it is a dead or stuck pixel but I was wondering if there was a solution to this. I have tried pixel correcting apps but with no luck. If anyone could give and help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Try taking a screenshot and view the screenshot from other device to see if it is visible. If not, you might have a dead pixel. If yes, some app might behave incorrectly and display a black dot.

Or just simply boot your device in safe mode to see if it is a dead pixel or bad app.

Okay I tried that and it is not visible. I think this is definitely a dead pixel. So how would I get this fixed. I have already tried pixel correcting apps.

Pixel correcting apps will only correct screen burn-ins. The only way to fix it is too replace the screen/LCD or make use of your warranty if you still have it.
