Charging issues

My husband and I bother have the s6 edge and today he went to go plunge his in and it went from charging to not very quickly. Any one have this issue? We have tried shutting down the phone and changing chargers. TIA

Try changing the cord. Most of the time in my experience it's the cord that fails in someway.

Ever since the marshmallow update I have noticed that if I don't place my charger perfect then it will not fast charge. For example, I plug it in and it says slow charging something like 4 hours to charge... I take it out I put it back in and then it says fast charging. Not sure if it's an marshmallow glitch but it didn't happen before I got marshmallow. I'm using original charger and it fits snug, not loose at all so I'm sure it's not the charger itself.
