    Hi there. So I bought a brand new unlocked Samsung s6 edge from the Samsung store in Australia and have very very poor cell service and data service. 90% of the time I won't be able so sent texts, use data. 3 telus staff members and one Samsung staff member have looked at it but have had no luck in fixing it. I was hoping someone on these forums would have a solution. Thanks very much in advance!

    You may find they use different frequency bands in Canada. Unlocked doesn't mean region unlocked, specifically, the device needs to work on the frequencies that are used in the region it's manufactured for. The model number will tell you the frequency bands your device works on, and a quick google search on Canadian bands will provide you with the ones in use there. Compare the two and you'll have your answer.
