I think they have a bunch of great ideas but I think the main thing to see are more updates for phone stability. Staying ahead of the game with updates to enhance the users experience.

I agree but that seems to be Motorolas niche. They do not release bleeding edge specs but there products are well supported and quick to see an update.

    What I'm expecting:

    - SAmoled QHD or UHD
    - 5 gig of RAM
    - SD 808 clocked at 3 ghz
    - notelike build quality
    - 5,2 inch
    - physical and capative buttons (hate that onscreen crap)

That's because Samsung is as far away from what Android as can be ! Motorola is pure Android. This is why it's easy to update without having to sift through the tons of software. Also this is why the new Moto's while not having "bleeding edge specs" run much smoother than Samsung. I'll tell you what, I had the note 1 and 2 and thought I'd never leave Sammy because I thought they were the innovators of Android with all the cool effects and features. Turns out I didn't know dink and didn't use half that crap and it wasn't until I got the Moto X that I actually got what was going in here. Stock Android runs smooth and fast. I'll never go back no matter what the hype is.

Some things that I think should be in all of today's phones:

    Water resistant.
    4k resolution.
    GREAT BATTERY!

...and last but not least, better build quality!

I don't see the value in that resolution on a phone-sized screen but I may be being short-sighted. Perhaps on a 8"+ screen.

I hope not. Anything more than 1080 is more than the eye could detect and a waste of battery/processor. I honestly think in a 5 inch display, 720 is probably fine but we all know only apple has the balls to only put in only as high a resolution as the eye can detect.

I think it would be nice and an absolute killer feature. Watch the YouTube videos there are differences between the resolutions and especially when it comes to multi tasking its handy

But realistically I think it's going to be qhd with a SD 808 and 5 gig ram

I don't think we'll see 5 GB of RAM...perhaps 4GB and even that will be prolly 25% more than needed, but nice indeed.

I agree it will be QHD (at least) . That's a no brained. Samsungs business model seems to be to release its flagship with a minimum of equalling the latest technology available if they are not raising the bar. There is no way they stick with 1080. They could but they won't. It's also highly unlikely that the screen would be smaller, the battery smaller, the camera worse, the ram the same.... You get the idea. Every thing gets an incremental improvement.

Much less bloatware for the global versions
Pure 64 bit Exynos 7420 with 14 nm architecture nd also a significantly improved snapdragon variant both with GPUs that will conquer Tegra K1
Meaningful reasonable practical battery juices with even better Quick Charge technology than what is introduced with Note 4
Full metal body that will look nd feel as much attractive as the defenders from HTC's One nd LG's G series
Keep the screen size at 5.1/5.2" with 2k display
Astonishing camera that will blow away people's mind
Pure H.265 encoding and decoding with AC3 nd DTS audio codec support
    Much better speaker
    Clever bezel optimization

    3.5 GHz Octa core processor
    Snapdragon 810 64 bit
    Adreno 430
    4gb DDR5 ram
    64 GB of internal storage
30 megapixel f/1.7 Sony camera in rear
10 megapixel wide angle f/2.0 camera on the front
    4700 MAh battery
    IP78 waterproofing
    NFC
    Stock Android
    5.1 inch screen
Back, Home, And recent apps buttons (off screen) and in that order
Pretty good list, but some are just NOT going to happen. Stock Android from Samsung is not going to happen unless Samsung and Google made a deal when Google sold Moto

We don't need more MP in a camera, we need BIGGER pixels! 2micron pixels @ 12-16MP would be amazing - see http://forums.androidcentral.com/and...ne-camera.html
OIS wasn't on your list but should be, and likely will make it now that its in the Note 4
Laser focus like the G3 would be cool
A second rear (and front) camera with infra-red pixels would be great like the M8 and Google's project tango. The second front facing camera could do 3d facial mapping for unlocking the phone
1440 will likely make it since its in the Note 4 - not sure its a good thing though 1080 is enough
I'm all for a large battery and anything 3000+mAh would be great, but I doubt we'll see 4000+
Always listening feature (like Moto X) with voice print (so it can be used with a locked phone)
    Front facing stereo speakers

Please DO NOT INCREASE THE SCREEN SIZE
    Please SHRINK THE PHONE SIZE

I essentially just want a metal build of the S5 maybe with slightly rounder edges and a slightly smaller screen between 4.8 inches and 5.0. I feel like the S5 is a tad too big.
