Will the Exynos chip be on every version of the S6?

Is there any confirmation that the US versions will get the Exynos chip? Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't past European Galaxy phones get the Exynos while we got some other chip in the states?

I was hoping that they are going to give the Exynos chip to all versions of this galaxy this time.

The Galaxy S6 series will ONLY use the Exynos chip. They are straying away from Qualcomm

With that being said, will there still be a big developer community with this device? I wonder, if the bootloader will be easily unlocked? And, will ROM developers make alternative ROM'S for this device?
