So now Sammi abandoned replaceable battery, you may want to start taking care of your battery with more vigor.

Li-Ion battery does age, every year, the battery will lose 10-30% of its capacity, many conditions, such as high voltage (high battery %), high temperature, high depth of discharge (DoD) all lead to faster rate of capacity loss.

How do you slow down the battery aging so your phone can last a few more years ? Let me present this post I wrote for Nexus 5 on battery maintenance, which now unfortunately also applies to Galaxy S6/S6Edge. All information is sourced from Basic to Advanced Battery Information from Battery University, the website contains large amount of valuable information on batteries collected from numerous tests.
