Whatever you don't want or need to use I suppose. Microsoft and Samsung apps are worth reviewing. A lot of them double up especially if you're already using Google's services and apps.

I do wonder though if there's a way to disable the Flipboard feed to the left of the home screens. Is there?

You can definitely very easily turn off the flip board screen. I'd also be interested to hear about apps that people have disabled or uninstalled to some great effect on the battery. So far for me its just been a couple of T Mobile apps and anything from Facebook.

Any anti-virus is worthless. Idc what company made it, on Android it's useless.

I swear I deleted half of the stuff that's on the phone. Lot of bloat.

I apologize if this is covered in depth elsewhere in these forums, but can you provide some proof to this statement? Are there truly no exploits/ malware that have slipped through the Google gates? I would actually love to find that this is true, as I hate having to tolerate the extra drain on my battery.

    anything you don't use.

Although I would not touch security app, android is a big target now, security flaws have been discovered.
