download booster causing wifi issues

Got my t-mobile S6 on the 30th. All was working well until I turned on the download booster. It seems to be causing me to lose connectivity even though in wifi settings it still shows as connected. Can anyone else confirm this? Not sure if it's a bug or what. I tried a factory reset and the issue is still there.

If I toggle wifi off then on again it will work temporarily, after a few minutes of YouTube or browsing the Web it will give me the no network connection message. There is no issues when the download booster is turned off.
