Since I'm not entirely sure what you mean, I can't guarantee it but when looking at stuff on the screen, it looks the same as it did before the screen protector was put on.

It is the area around the edge that looks like it is lifting up. This is my Verizon screen protector. You can see the bottom right has the halo effect.

Can you post a pic of the top of the phone. That protector looks like it's installed a little high (i.e., should be closer to the home button), but I could be wrong. I'm thinking about getting the Verizon one, as I've had good luck with them in the past. Is that the .2mm thick one?

This is the only pic I have right now but it's actually installed where the Verizon rep said it should be. It's just shorter than others I think. The rep said if it was closer to the home button it would make it hard to press. Even so I think if it was shifted down there would be a lot of open space at the top of the phone.
