Best text app?

Does Textra allow for sending MMS/SMS via wifi if cell signal is weak? I'm looking for good texting app that allows this. Verizon Messages app does but not a huge fan.

Use Google messanger app, love it...have been using it since I had my nexus 5.

Verizon messages is the only one I know of that does that. They're the only ones with access to their servers though. Knowing Verizon, they'll never let anyone else have that type of access.

In Textra under MMS Settings you can find a Wifi Preferred, it may or may not do what you want, try and see.

I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. This way MMS messages will go through much faster.
