Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge reportedly getting camera improvements with Android 5.1.1

I would imagine that along with those improvements for the camera, the cell standby/WiFi issues that have plagued earlier builds of Lollipop will be corrected, as well. Anyone excited for the full camera API and better battery life?

Good news but S6 doesn't even have 5.1 yet. Will they get 5.1.1 and bypass 5.1?

More than likely at this point.

Good news, i prefer to get a bunch of updates in a single massive update rather than small increments so 5.1.1 would be nice. Really hope it fixes the dreaded Google Play services battery drain im suffering.

Camera update would be fine, but the camera is probably the part of the phone I like the most. I would prefer them to work on the issues that users are facing compared to adding new functionality.

I, for one, hope it has both fixes.

Yes, as per the leaked TMobile edge update, it is 5.1.1.

Personally I'm not worried about getting shutter speed controls because it already has +/- EV and that is what shutter speed is going to act like when you change it from the norm.

A more comprehensive white balance adjustments, or settings that are in between the current presets would be amazing, like on the G4. This is what I want along with Raw.

My guess is raw and shutter speed control will be added to close the gap on g4 manual control

Probably not. 120fps is likely a hardware limitation as is the low quality. I have no idea how the iPhone manages higher quality video at 240fps, but it's the sole feature I'm envious of.

I'm sure it's a hardware limitation but I'm also sure Apple has a patent somewhere along the line keeping Android from doing 240fps.
