Just out of curiosity, is there any OEM battery for Galaxy S6 is sold online and how to remove the battery? I wouldn't take risk of removing the battery myself though.

It's probably a little early in the lifespan of the device to find batteries. I've seen a video of how to remove the battery on the S6, but I wouldn't suggest it unless you have experience taking apart electronics. It's not impossible, but not exactly easy either.

I agree. By the time you upgrade again, the battery will be fine unless you plan on keeping it more than two or three years. Samsung, I believe will do it for $45?
