Screen Doesn't turn off during a call

I just received my replacement phone and the screen doesn't turn off during a call.

Is there a fix that I could do or do I have a defective phone?

Doing a wipe cache partition fixes it for a little bit and maybe an hour later, it's broken again.

I've also tried doing a factory reset with no success.

It's the proximity sensor. Do you have a case on the phone? If so, try prying it up a little or cleaning with a soft dry cloth.

I'm not using a case right now

I also tested the sensor by dialing *#0*# and the sensor appears to be working properly. Will test again when it starts acting up.

Performed the test on another S6 and the only difference I found was the TSP Color ID. Mine was 0 and the other phone's value was 10
