Samsung S6 - can I create subfolders under music folder on phone?

Want to keep various types of music, audio, podcasts in various folders.

Thanks for any info.

Also want to use stock music player but am open to others if that will not accommodate what I am trying to do

Go to the folder named "tools" and then within it is "my files". Go to device storage and then media, then audio. Once you're in, hit "more" and you'll be able to create a new folder and put whatever media in it. That might do the trick. Good luck

Peter, yes, you can make all the folders you want and use them to organize your music collection. (Just TRY that with an iPhone!)

And I am VERY happy with Samsung's "Music" player for MP3 playback -- I really haven't found another player that I like as well as it, let alone like any better. For instance, you can organize your music files into those folders you want to make, and the stock music player CAN PLAY BACK by those folders, as well as the usual tags and such. So, yes, yes, a million times yes -- go ahead and use folders!
