I recently purchased a Galaxy S6, and have installed the latest update (I'm on T-Mobile).
My issue is as follows:
Sometimes I receive double texts, or have gotten texts late. Initially, I thought it was a network issue so I called T-Mobile and they couldn't find any network problems.
But annoying is sometimes, even when I receive texts, I can't send texts (MMS goes out fine, but SMS will not). In the middle of receiving texts, I simply cannot send any out. If I restart my phone or even turn airplane mode on for a few seconds and turn it back off, it resolves the issue and I can send SMS again.
Turning airplane mode on and off doesn't take long and it's ok as a bandaid solution but having to do this 2-3 times a day is getting really annoying.
Anyone else encounter anything like this? Any ideas on how to resolve it?
P.S. I've using Hangouts as my default messaging app instead of the stock one. I never had this issue on my old HTC One using the Hangouts app. I haven't had the phone long enough to determine if it was the system update that caused the issue or not.
