I notice each time when I go to charge my phone that Google Chrome has taken up a lot of battery power. Do any of you use any different browsers that you would recommend and do they use less battery. Chrome seems to be a real battery hog

I don't know if it uses less battery, but I use UC browser. It saves way more data than chrome does.

Thank you. Data is also very important for me. I should have posted so in my original post. Just downloaded this one. I love the facebook integration. Especially considering I have the official app uninstalled because it runs too much in the background

I'm a fan of Opera Browser. Works very well on the S6.

Did they ever fix the issues Dolphin Browser had with the S6?

Sent from my Galaxy S6

Stock browser at present. Have used Firefox, Opera and Dolphin in the past.

I barely use the internet on my phone but when I do use it the stock browser or Chrome suffice.

I switched a few weeks ago from Chrome to Firefox and have been happy thus far. I've been using Firefox for my PC for years anyways.

I use Firefox. Chrome is bloated and a memory hog. With Firefox, there's so many add-ons that just work...like for downloading video from any website. I tried to find a similar add-on for Chrome but couldn't find any. It wouldn't even play some flashplayer videos. It's plain garbage.

I use Maxthon. Much lighter than Chrome or Firefox and renders pages correctly that other browsers don't. .

Seems to show up on the battery usage list but I can live with that.

Are there add-ons/plug-ins for flashplayer for viewing flash content on webpages?
