I just purchased an Ivation 3-coil Wireless Charger from Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Ivation-Wirel...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4536661

This looks identical (except for the logo) to the Qi-Infinity model that sells for $20 more.

This folding and "angle adjustable" wireless charger does not come with an actual power adapter. It comes with USB 2.0 cables and you use your own charger. (I have several) The manual simply says to plug it into your own power adapter or the USB port on you laptop of PC. No mention is made of optimal power adapter size. My question concerns the amperage rating of power adapters and what would be optimum for this charger. The specs simply show: INPUT: DC5V, 1500mA. Could a 5V power adapter with too low or too high amperage be a problem? is higher better?

Welcome to Android Central!

I would think the 5V one should be fine.
