Lock Screen... is this possible?

I have my "lock screen type" set to PIN.
I have my "screen timeout" set to 60 seconds.
I have "smart stay" turned on.
I have my "secured lock" time set to 10 minutes.
I have "smart lock" set to trust my home location.

Every time my screen times out and goes black, I have to press the power key or home key to "wake up" the phone, THEN I have to swipe to get in the phone. Can I eliminate lock screen (unless it is actually locked per the above settings) and just wake up to the home screen when I press the home or power key?

That's how it works. I think the only way to press home and open the device without the unlock screen is if you set to None the Lockscreen options, but can't use that for Smart Lock.

So in a summary, I think that what you are currently looking for is not possible, at least without root, maybe something else can be done with root.
