I bought an international unlocked version of Galaxy S6, was expecting to have the option of Wifi Calling like my S3 does, but it was missing. It should be under 'Connections' but it wasn't there.

Is there a way to have this option back? I need it because I have no reception at all from TMobile at where I work. I used to have 1 bar with my S3, but not this S6. I am starting to unlike it due to other reasons.

Do I need to root it? flash it with a certain ROM?

    any help is much appreciated.

I read some where that you can get the Wifi calling feature if you root the phone, then turn it on. But I never looked into this. I have 920I which doesn't have this feature out of the box.

I have the same issue as you. If you're on the T-Mobile Simple Choice plan, you can go get a LTE booster from them. I use it at my place since my signal is really weak in my home. I couldn't make calls in my home before.

I first downloaded OpenSignal from Play store. The app will tell you where the nearest cell tower is. The LTE booster comes with two boxes, one that you place at teh window and second in your home. With this setup, I'm now able to get strong signal in my home.
