it seems s rolling through every app on android using gs6 has its quirks but the dolphin browser is the worst so far. i search something in google and when scrolling down the page, any slight scroll will cause the page to scroll up or down like i jerked the page up or down. it's annoying when im reading and scroll down and the page jumps a few paragraphs so i have to scroll back up and then it jumps too far up so i have to very carefully scroll down again to get in the right position. this is now my 5th browser I've downloaded and now want to delete. does anything actually work half decent on the s6? it doesnt seem like a very user friendly device so far. as im typing on swiftkey i have to go back and reenter words because the lag is brutal when typing and it keeps inputting wrong characters. i feel bad for people who have fat fingers. i dont and i cant type a word with more than 4 letters and then i have to go back and retype it because of an annoying typo. i miss my iphone
.. is there any calibration settings in the s6?

I dumped dolphin and went back to chrome for this exact issue on my Note 3. Dolphin is not what it used to be. Herky jerk.

Scrolling is just not smooth and hasn't been smooth ever since I had an s3. Performance on these phones have been terrible despite the jacked up specs that Samsung likes to throw into these phones. 3gb ram does absolutely nothing for this device.

Try booting into recovery and wiping the cache partition or maybe even a factory reset. I don't have any lagging issues on my s6 regardless of what app I'm in.

I do hate to hear that you are having such a bad experience with this phone. Are you on 5.0.2 or 5.1.1?

Dolphin's scrolling behavior is much more aggressive than any other browser I've tried, at least with its default settings. A finger flick up or down will generally cause the screen to scroll much farther than you're expecting when you're first getting used to it. If you want to scroll small distances, do it with gentle motions keeping an index finger or thumb on the screen. Try disabling the Dolphin Jetpack in the basic settings menu and both scrolling and page rendering become more tolerable and less jerky.

In general, Dolphin seems more customizable than other browsers, between its gesture controls and bookmark sorting features, but it still falls a bit short of the quality I'd like to see. I keep Chrome Dev installed as a backup and alternate between the two. The stock Samsung browser actually is actually quite decent, I'm just irritated by the fact that (at least on the AT&T version) several preloaded bookmarks are surgically attached to the list with no option for deletion (image). But its performance is better than most will allow credit.

does anything actually work half decent on the s6? it doesnt seem like a very user friendly device so far.
I wouldn't blame the device for some apps not being up to par.

as im typing on swiftkey i have to go back and reenter words because the lag is brutal when typing and it keeps inputting wrong characters. i feel bad for people who have fat fingers. i dont and i cant type a word with more than 4 letters and then i have to go back and retype it because of an annoying typo.
Swiftkey shouldn't behave like that, mine's been smooth as silk since installing. You might want to try clearing the app's cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, or performing a reset as the poster above suggested.

In my experience only two apps have yielded sub-par scrolling: the Dolphin/Jetpack issue mentioned above, and an older version of Twitter from April. Other than that I've had no issues.

Experimenting with it now. It seems really speedy and performs well. But, like so many other browsers, bookmarks have zero edit or sort options.
