You can use Google Photos to back up your whole collection to the cloud and make it accessible to all devices (including your PC). Or you can connect with a usb cord and just cut/copy and paste to a folder on your PC.

I use QQ International, a multilingual Chinese IM. It has a feature called 'send to my PC', which sends files to a folder on your PC. You need to install QQ on your PC as well.

I've used QQ for a long time, and have had no problems, as in bloat or malware.

I use Google Drive plus FolderSync to keep all my files in sync and have access to them from wherever I log into my Google account. So not only do I have my pics/videos but I also have any documents/files in sync. Also, it keeps my folder structure.
