Let's face it: we all have to deal with those automated call systems from time to time. They can be particularly annoying if they block you from connecting directly to the person you are tying to get by entering an extension number.

Well, there is an easy and simple solution to this problem. You can create a contact and enter in the number. Screenshot_2015-08-05-14-48-31.png Next press Sym and tap "Wait(,)" Two is the recommended amount. After pasting, type the extension. Screenshot_2015-08-05-14-51-38.jpg Tadah! Now you have attached an extension to a phone number. Hopefully now you'll be contacting that person a lot more!

Try it out, and hopefully this will make calling that one vital work contact you have a much less frustrating experience!

Something I've done for years is use commas, so if you know that once you dial there will be an automated system answering and you can simply dial the extension number, then you can just add 1 or 2 commas between the phone number and extension. Each commas means a 2 seconds pause.
